Job Duties:
Provide bedside care
Administer medications and document therapeutic effects
Take vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration)
Assist with resident comfort
Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas
Collect samples and monitor catheters
Provide wound care
Help coach staff as necessary
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Protects the home care agency by adhering to professional standards, home care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
Enhances service reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Must have experience in geriatric care, work well with seniors with a compassionate, patient and understanding manner, and demonstrate a desire to serve individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other related dementias
Must maintain a positive and professional attitude and project a calm demeanor
Must be a flexible team player with the ability to work effectively with others in a team environment promoting a culture of teamwork across departments, cooperation, enthusiasm, customer service, and an atmosphere conducive to growth for all associates
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Bilingual welcome but not required
Must be able to handle the physical requirements of the job including standing, sitting, bending, and moving and transferring residents (one-person or two-person assist), as well as physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required

Skills and Qualifications Needed:
Associates degree in Nursing, Current LPN license in MA, Up to date first aid and CPR certification, Creating a Safe, Effective Environment, Health Promotion and Maintenance, Nursing Skills, Health Care Administration, Patient Services, Verbal Communication, Listening, Training, Dependability, Emotional Control, Medical Teamwork.
The must haves:
Driver's license, reliable transportation, and vehicle insurance
Proficiency in English
A reliable cell phone and email
Fully vaccinated against COVID and boosted if eligible
Work one weekend day every other week
